The MELAdem®53 water treatment system is a high-performance solution for the efficient provision of high-quality demineralized water, particularly in medical and dental facilities. This system has been specially developed to meet the demand for pure water for applications such as the final rinse with MELAtherm or for supplying the Cliniklav 25. Two high-quality 20-litre containers filled with regenerable resin are included with the MELAdem®53. One of the containers is continuously connected to the MELAtherm or the steam sterilizer, while the other is available for regeneration. This innovative solution allows for seamless operation: When the first container is used up, it is sent for regeneration while the second continues to operate. Depending on the average hardness of the incoming tap water, each cartridge can produce up to 1,000 liters of demineralized water. This makes the MELAdem®53 particularly economical and ideally suited for the high water demand in hospitals and medical practices. The treatment system works on the principle of ion exchange and offers a remarkable maximum flow rate of up to 800 liters per hour. The resin volume is 20 liters, which enables a high capacity with a water hardness of 10°dH of up to 2,800 liters in total. With a diameter of 24 cm and a height of 61.5 cm, the MELAdem®53 is compact and fits easily into any treatment environment.
