Cleartest® Strep-A-Test

The CLEARTEST Streptococcus rapid test, also known as the Strep A test, is a diagnostic aid for the qualitative determination of group A streptococci. This test strip enables rapid and reliable identification of the widespread bacterial infection that often causes sore throat and fever. The test is based on a visual immunoassay that recognizes specific antigens of group A streptococci in throat swabs. The interpretation of the test results is uncomplicated: Two lines on the test strip indicate a positive result, while one line means a negative result. Each pack contains test strips, sterile swabs, extraction tubes, reagent solutions and detailed instructions.
