The finger splint, 1.9 cm wide, is a reliable aid for immobilizing injured fingers. This splint can be tailored to individual requirements to ensure an optimum fit and stabilization. It should be adjusted so that it overlaps the fingertip of the affected finger on the back by 3-4 cm. To ensure that the splint fits firmly and does not slip, it can be secured semi-circularly around the finger with several strips of plaster. The final stabilization is achieved by wrapping a gauze or elastic bandage around it. The aluminum incorporated into the splint enables an X-ray examination without having to remove the bandage. The foam on the inside provides additional comfort by evenly distributing the pressure on the finger and protecting against skin irritation. This finger splint is supplied in a 3-meter roll, which allows it to be cut to the required length. Ideal for use in first aid and in the further treatment of finger injuries.
