The red GL cap made of polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) and the ETFE pouring rings offer greater thermal and chemical resistance than the corresponding polypropylene components. The screw cap seal has a PTFE-coated cap insert for an efficient seal. The ETFE pouring ring ensures drip-free pouring.
- Made of PBT, PTFE, ETFE, silicone, glass fiber
- Fully autoclavable at 121 or 134 °C (steam (wet) sterilization)
- Caps can be used up to 180 °C (dry heat)
- Excellent chemical resistance due to PTFE-coated cap insert
- The cap insert forms a tight seal with the bottle
- PTFE-coated, peroxide-hardened silicone cap insert
- Suitable for PBT screw caps and tamper-evident screw caps
